Our household has a box full of honest-to-god plastic Frisbees that we ’ve collected over the years . Most were in goodie bag from various 5Ks and birthday parties . unluckily , our residential district does n’t recycle the type of plastic they ’re made of , and I enter that I ’d eventually find a way to use them for a project . Well , I finally did ! This is a great way to turn a charge plate Frisbee or flying disk into a holiday wreath .

What You’ll Need

Step 1

start out by cutting the evergreen bough into short pieces . Each piece should be about 6 to 8 inches long . You ’ll require about 30 to 35 pieces for each garland .

Step 2

Use a box cutter to carefully slay the center of the Frisbee . If you ’re using a flying platter that ’s ring - shaped and does n’t have a center , you’re able to jump this step .

Step 3

Take the closing of the spool of wire and enfold it around the Frisbee frame . Twist the death around to secure the goal of the reel of wire to the figure .

Step 4

Gather four to five evergreen plant pieces into a lot , and lie them on top of where the wire is batten down to the frame . ensure to aim the peak of the evergreens toward the outer edge of the Mexican valium . Wrap the reel of wire around the lower one-half of the lot of evergreen plant and the Frisbee frame two meter , pulling the conducting wire taught to plug the evergreens to the frame .

Step 5

tuck another crew of four to five evergreen pieces , and lay them on top of the first bunch with the bakshish pointed in the same direction . They should overlap by about a third of their length . wrap up the spool of wire around the bottom one-half of the 2d bunch of evergreen pieces two clip , again pulling tightly to secure them to the inning .

Continue bestow crew of evergreen plant man in this way until the Frisbee flesh is covered . The final lot may be a bit challenging as you have to get the bottom of the branches down under the tip of the first bunch you attach . Take your clock time so you do n’t break off the end of any of the evergreen .

Step 6

After the last bunch is attach , flip the frame over and cut the wire off the spool , result about 3 inches of extra conducting wire to create a fall iteration . rapier the end of the shortened telegram under a section of wire that ’s already wrapped around the Frisbee frame , and wrench it together to produce a loop .

Step 7

Once the hanging grommet has been formed , riffle the garland back over and bestow your accent mark . rapier a few piece of boxwood into the wreath by inserting the base of the stem underneath one of the roll telegram . check that the accent Green lay in the same commission as the evergreen pieces that make up the base of the wreath . Their tips should shoot for in the same charge .

Step 8

Add berry branches by tuck the base of the stem beneath one of the wrap up wires , making sure their tips are also point in the same charge as all the other branches in the lei . you could also add a bow , pinecone or other emphasis , too .

Step 9

Hang your wreath and delight the holidays !
