Both Raymond Evison Clematis from Guernsey and Thorncroft Clematis Nursery from Norfolk gained Gold medals this yr , 2 of the 57 Gold ’s present in the Floral Marquee . Thorncroft lionise 30 class and 3rd generation in running the occupation . The criterion of exhibits reflecting the number of Gold ’s .

Eagle Sweet Pea ’s exhibit being the only one record the genus ( Gold ) , Peter Beales Roses set in motion Rosa ‘ Liverpool Hope ’ whilst David Austin Roses had two newfangled gain , ‘ Eustacia Vye ’ and ‘ Gabriel Oak ’ ( both made it to the myopic listing in Plant of the Year ) & both nursery gained Gold for their colorful and fragrant display .

Gail Smith Flowers created a glorious column of flowers called ‘ The Living Herbarium ’ as a tribute to her Grandfather whom she discovered was quite an unskilled botanist and plant collector . At the display ’s by Hoyland Plant Centre of Clivia ( National Collection holder ) and his other display of Agapanthus ( Both Gold ) I foregather Peter Franklyn and his Daughter Lyn , both have Agapanthus advert for them from Peter ’s gentility , one made AGM status at the recent trials at RHS Wisley .
