When you ’re traveling far from home , allow for your plants unattended is n’t an option – they’llwither and perish without water supply . And if you ca n’t find anyone to help with watering while you ’re aside , what ’s the root ?
Here ’s a simple trick to keep your houseplants watered while you ’re forth : start byplugging the drainage in your bathtuband fill it with about 2 to 3 inches of water from the spigot .
Then , grab some towels(even old ace will work ) and lay them on the control surface of the water . Let thetowels soak up the waterfor a few minutes .
Once they ’re damp enough , place your houseplants on top of the towels . That ’s all there is to it !
So , instead of hiring professionals or ask someone to irrigate your plants while you ’re gone , do this simple , yet in force trick !
This works because plants will have enough water to absorb whilst you ’re gone . What also helps iskeeping them in the same place ; this way , you create a humid environment that help them stay hydrous longer .

Do n’t worry , there are always some elementary solutions ; for instance , you may use yoursink or even big container .
If you are portion out withlarge plant life that wo n’t fit into a cesspit or large container , you have to find another agency to keep them hydrated .
One solution is usinga watering bet – they usually last for one to two weeks , depending on the sunshine and the size of the flora .
