Six on Saturday. October in my French Garden.
I ’m afraid I have been AWOL from the blogging world since July . I have been in France and although I have been meaning to partake in my Gallic garden with you for calendar week I have n’t get the time . So many sweetheart have been and move , so before I go back to the UK I will chop-chop show you a few plant that are still hold me pleasure . When I have more time I will show you how I created my garden here from a wilderness .
We are on a hillside here so I have terraced the garden so it is on three levels . My first industrial plant is the olive Sir Herbert Beerbohm Tree next to the judiciary on the top level where I wish to pose and revel the view in the evenings when the sunshine is not too tearing .
Here are a twosome of perspective from the top stage .

I have steps leading down to the terrace . In the beds either side are lavenders , agastache , herbaceous plant , gaura and other plants to appeal pollinators . I have enjoyed the awing salmagundi of bees and butterflies all summertime . The morose pinkGauralindheimeriis still looking fabulous . Plants are not always well labelled here so I am not sure of the exact name .
My garden has beautiful old Oliver Stone walls so I have planted lots of climbers . Solanumjasminoides‘Album ’ is still looking good .
Here is another shot from this level look up the garden . The chocolate-brown seedheads are fromAgastache‘Blue Adder ’ .

I have choose French roses for the garden and some of them have blossom all summertime . Most of them have stop apart from this beauty which is still going stiff . I am afraid it is yet another plant which did n’t have a recording label . I wonder if it is perhaps a China rose .
For my next pic I am going down a few measure to look up ftom the scummy level . MyZauschneriacalifornicais flourish in the gravel and is full of flower .
Here is another view looking up past the zauschneria . you’re able to just see the top of the 13th 100 church which is further up the hill . Our house is on an old pilgrim ’s way .

For my last plant I must take you round to the little terrace at the front of my house . ThisPlumbagoauriculatahas been blossom for week . I bought it because it has such deep blue peak . unluckily , it is not hardy and winters are cold here so I shall have to find someone to assume it when I go back to the UK .
And now we are in the front , here is the vista looking down the route .
So that is my six today from my little act of Shangri-la in la France profonde . It might be October but summertime is still lollygag here ; tomorrow is supposed to be a very pleasant 26 degrees . Thanks to Jim at Garden Ruminations for host Six on Saturday . After such a long absence seizure I am calculate forward to seeing what he and all the other SoSers are enjoy in their garden .

How endearing to have another garden where you’re able to establish plants and return to enjoy . It has some lovely position and is in such a pretty berth too .
