Installing a serviceman - made pool and flow in a natural setting requires meticulous landscape painting purpose and a turn of illusion to make it appear as though Mother Nature herself was the artist . The yard offered stunning views of the Topa Topa Mountains , but was lifeless and uninspiring , with little more than a big concrete pool .

To make the pebble beach leading into the pocket billiards , Williams mixed different types of stone with pieces of concrete in various sizes to simulate a raw shoreline . In positioning the stones , he considers how light interacts with the water to make the fancy of depth in sure areas by transition from light rock to darker colors .
