A boring lot transformed into a garden
Today Alina is share photos of her mother Joanna ’s garden .
My mother has been work on her garden for over 20 years . When first purchased , her 1/3 - acre holding in Waterloo , Ontario , consisted of a house and a mates of tree disperse in a large area of lawn . I ’m certain beaming I was n’t around to cut down it !
Each summertime , one bed at a time , she grow her garden . Today there is only a small stretch of eatage give — just enough for my trampoline . Each part of the garden has a different name identifying the types of plants in the incision ; there ’s the daisy garden , rock and roll garden , woodland garden , and so on .

A clump ofprimroses(looks like a red-faced form ofPrimulaveris , Zones 5–8 ) iscovered with prime in the front curtilage .
cloud of flowers bloom in the front K , with a magnificent thud of phlox(Phloxsubulata , Zones 3–9 ) take center phase .
A Lucy Stone route wander through contrasting leaf in the front garden .

The woodland garden include with child clumps of great blanched trillium(Trilliumgrandiflorum , Zones 3–8 ) , which is Ontario ’s provincial efflorescence .
The ravisher of the daisy garden is that there ’s always something interesting bechance anytime in the season . There ’s a public path that goes along this side of the place . People often stop to admire my mother ’s garden and complement it as they walk by . It ’s so nice that Joanna ’s art is able to be enjoyed by the integral neighborhood .
Riot of summertime color in the daisy garden

Trumpet vine(Campsisradicans , Zones 4–9 ) breed an archway with bright orange bloom .
Every inch of the garden is fill with beautiful plants , with things to discover around every crimp in the path .
The lower garden is a web of paths made of flagstone pavers filled in withmoss . This route scheme was belike the vainglorious development in the garden . I vividly think listening to my dad maledict in pain in the neck as he attempted to lift and move some of the big endocarp in the garden while my female parent supervised , direct him to where the rock was to go and making him careen it another column inch , over and over , until it was in the right office .

The stone paths are certainly in the right berth now , lead you past a bottlebrush buckeye(Aesculusparviflora , Zones 4–8 ) back up by a grandiloquent purpleness - leaved beech tree(Fagussylvatica , Zones 4–7 ) .
More flagstone paths lead from the lower garden up toward the house .
Wonderful color sound reflection with hydrangea(Hydrangea paniculata , Zones 4–8 ) , ornamental grass(Miscanthussinensis , Zones 5–9 ) , and sedum(Sedum‘Autumn Joy ’ , Zones 3–8 ) all showing bloom in a soft , stale rose .

Joanna ’s Caterpillar likes to follow her around the garden , superintend the various horticulture tasks .
And this is how it all started — some trees and lawn , now turned into a marvelous garden .
