" Twenty two years ago my hubby and I begin our garden on two acres of potato farm in a small town on the east death of Long Island , NY . In the hamlet of Bridgehampton , we find the perfect plaza . We loved the mind of being in a rural country , a land field with slews of tractors and tater trucks . The acres we settled upon were open , widely unfastened to panorama of knight farms and sky with nothing to stymie the blank canvass of country we found at the beginning except shank high locoweed and a crushed shoulder along the bottom of the attribute where the tractor used to turn to come out down another row .

The herbaceous plant garden , the sentimental garden , the shade garden the horseshoe garden and the kitchen garden . We find out so much , kept notes and please in our labors . We sustain many garden journal , one for each yr with pictures , ideas , failures and successes .
The garden has been a major part of our life for many years and our three raised bed in our kitchen garden for organic vegetables has been amazing to us . The beds dressed with our own compost each twelvemonth have been feeding us and many others for all that clip . "
